From Renault factories to contemporary art center, the story of Paris's 'cursed' Seguin Island

On October 17, Le Large will open its doors. A small miracle given the many projects that have fallen through after Renault left the island, just west of Paris, in 1992. But the story is not over: the center of the island remains conspicuously empty.
